Naruto X Boruto Ninja Voltage Nearing Its End

Bandai Namco's popular fortress strategy RPG, Naruto X Boruto Ninja Voltage, is officially closing its doors. This isn't entirely unexpected, mirroring the fate of other Bandai Namco gacha titles, including the previously shuttered Naruto Blazing.

Closure Date and Final Events:

Launched in 2017, the game will conclude its run on December 9th, 2024. Players can enjoy several final events before the shutdown:

  • Village Leader World Championship: October 8th - October 18th
  • All-Out Mission: October 18th - November 1st
  • 'Thanks For Everything' Campaign: November 1st - December 1st

Until December 9th, players can continue collecting Ninja Cards, participate in summoning events, and utilize in-game items. It's advisable to spend any remaining Gold Coins before the game's closure.

Reasons for Shutdown:

While initially successful with its balanced village-building and defense mechanics, Naruto X Boruto Ninja Voltage experienced a decline. The introduction of powerful characters like Minato exacerbated a growing power creep issue. This, coupled with increasingly blatant pay-to-win elements, reduced free-to-play rewards, and the near-disappearance of multiplayer features, led to player dissatisfaction and ultimately, the game's demise. The game remains available on the Google Play Store for those wishing to try it before the shutdown.
