Following the global pandemic in Plague Inc. and the rebuilding efforts in Rebel Inc., Ndemic Creations presents After Inc., a new game exploring the aftermath. Contrary to expectations, the zombie apocalypse didn't end the world.
A Resurgent World
After Inc. begins decades after the Necroa Virus, with a handful of survivors rebuilding civilization amidst a revitalized landscape. Humanity's absence has allowed nature to flourish, creating a lush and green world. However, danger still lurks, particularly within the ruins of former cities. While zombies are no longer the dominant threat, they haven't completely vanished.
The game is set in a beautifully rendered post-apocalyptic UK. Players manage a settlement, scavenging resources to construct farms, lumberyards, and housing. See it in action:
More Than Just a City Builder
After Inc. seamlessly blends survival strategy and city management, even incorporating elements of a 4X game. Players will gather resources, expand settlements, and make ethically challenging decisions concerning resource allocation and survival choices (e.g., the value of children or the fate of a dog).
A persistent campaign mode allows players to build multiple settlements across various locations, each with unique challenges. Ten distinct leaders are available for selection, providing varied strategic approaches. After Inc. is available on the Google Play Store for $1.99.
