Portal Games Digital has released a digital version of the popular board game, Imperial Miners, now available on Android. This card game offers a deep dive into mine-building strategy. The release follows other successful Android adaptations from Portal Games Digital, including Neuroshima Convoy, Imperial Settlers: Roll & Write, and Tides of Time.
Designed by Tim Armstrong (known for Arcana Rising and Orbis) and illustrated by Hanna Kuik (Batman: Everybody Lies, Dune: House Secrets), Imperial Miners puts you in charge of an underground excavation. Strategically play cards to craft the most efficient mine and build a thriving subterranean empire. Begin your operation on the surface, but as you dig deeper, collect valuable Crystals and Carts to earn Victory Points.
Imperial Miners features a unique card-playing system where each card activates its effect and triggers those above it. Six distinct factions offer diverse strategic options and exciting combinations. Mine development extends beyond card placement; ten rounds of gameplay, each featuring a new Event, introduce unexpected challenges and opportunities.
The game also incorporates three randomly selected Progress boards from a pool of six, providing variable strategic focuses and ensuring replayability.
