This Fan-Favorite Sims Character Is Finally Making an Appearance in The Sims 4

Careful, Simmers! Robin Banks, the infamous Burglar, is back in The Sims 4!

A familiar face (or should we say, mask?) to veteran Sims players, Robin Banks returns in the latest update for The Sims 4, available now on PC and consoles. Get ready to safeguard your Sims' valuables, because she's on the prowl! Operating under the cover of darkness, Robin typically targets homes while Sims are asleep. However, don't be lulled into a false sense of security; she's been known to attempt daring daytime heists. Stay vigilant!

To thwart her nefarious plans, Sims can install a burglar alarm. Triggering the alarm guarantees a swift police response, leading to Robin's arrest and the recovery of stolen goods. Even without an alarm, calling the police remains an option—just be quick! Or, if you prefer a more direct approach, vigilante justice is always on the table.

While burglaries are designed to be relatively infrequent events, those seeking maximum chaos can activate the Lot Challenge "Heist Havoc" to significantly increase their likelihood.

The Sims team expressed their excitement about Robin Banks' return, noting it's a fitting tribute to The Sims' 25th anniversary. They hope this nostalgic yet fresh addition brings plenty of playful mayhem to players' households.

Despite being over a decade old (The Sims 4) and the franchise celebrating its 25th anniversary, the game continues to thrive. Last year alone, The Sims 4 attracted over 15 million new players. EA's Q2 earnings report highlighted the game's remarkable growth since its transition to free-to-play in 2022, adding a staggering 31 million new players and reaching a total player base of 85 million by May 2024. This is quite a contrast to its premium days, where it took four years to reach 20 million unique players. And for those eagerly awaiting The Sims 5, there are currently no announcements.
