The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a stylish newcomer: Minccino and Cinccino in fashionable attire! This limited-time event offers a chance to catch these trendy Pokémon.
When to Catch Costumed Minccino
Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These Pokémon sport chic rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. While Costume Minccino can be Shiny, its evolved form, Costume Cinccino, cannot. Other costumed Pokémon returning for the event include Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and the ever-popular Furfrou.
How to Acquire Costume Minccino
Unlike previous events, obtaining Costume Minccino requires a bit more effort. It's available through two methods: Raids and a Paid Timed Research.
One-Star Raids
Costume Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, easily tackled solo. However, Shinx and Furfrou also appear in these raids, so multiple attempts might be needed.
Paid Timed Research
The most reliable method is purchasing the $5 USD (or local equivalent) Paid Timed Research. This ticket guarantees encounters with Costume Minccino, along with XP, Stardust, and a new avatar pose.
Field Research
While Field Research tasks offer encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic hasn't specified if Costume Minccino will be among them. Free-to-play players may only encounter other costumed Pokémon.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino
To acquire Costume Cinccino, evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
