Lunar New Year: January 29 – February 2
Celebrate the Year of the Snake with increased spawns of snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans (Shiny available!), Onix (Shiny available!), Snivy (Shiny available!), Darumaka (Shiny available!), Dunsparce (Shiny available!), Gyarados (Shiny available!), and Dratini (Shiny available!). Enjoy boosted Lucky Pokémon trade rates, increased chances of becoming Lucky Friends, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will hatch Makuhita (Shiny available!), Nosepass (Shiny available!), Meditite (Shiny available!), Duskull (Shiny available!), and Skorupi (Shiny available!).
Legendary Flight: Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9
Dynamax Moltres makes its debut! Catch it as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots on February 3rd (6 PM – 7 PM local time). Afterward, continue the hunt until February 9th, though Moltres will be at fewer Power Spots as Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble also appear as Max Battle bosses (until February 10th).
Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9
This dual Community Day (2 PM – 5 PM local time) features increased Karrablast and Shelmet spawns, boosted evolution bonuses, and higher Shiny rates. Evolve your Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16th (10 PM local time) to get an Escavalier with Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively. A premium Timed Research is available for purchase.

Road to Unova: February 18 – March 1
This event leads up to the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova—Global event in March. Expect the Pokémon GO debut of Shiny Meloetta, Gen 5 Legendary Raids, increased Unovan starter Pokémon spawns, premium Timed Research, and more! (Starts February 18th, 10 AM local time).
