Complete Arcane Lineage Boss Guide – How to Beat Them All

by Jacob Mar 26,2025

In the thrilling world of Arcane Lineage, Bosses range from easy targets that even new players can take down solo to formidable foes requiring multiple coordinated teams. Each boss presents unique challenges and intricate mechanics, demanding strategic planning and patience to conquer. The rewards for defeating these bosses are among the game's best loot and items, making our Arcane Lineage Boss guide essential for gearing up to face these epic encounters.

Arcane Lineage Boss List

King Slime

Considered more of a mini-boss, King Slime is less threatening than other bosses in Arcane Lineage, though still a challenge for low-level players. Notably, you won't gain soul points from defeating this boss.

King Slime Location

King Slime spawns after 100 Slimes are defeated on the server, appearing near the city closest to the last slain slime. A notification on the Quest Board will alert players when the King Slime quest is active. The quest involves two steps:

  1. Find the King Slime
  2. Kill the King Slime

This quest has a 30-minute global cooldown on the server.

King Slime Fighting Strategy

With 400 HP (600 if Corrupted), King Slime has the lowest HP of any boss. Its primary attack involves summoning more Slimes, potentially overwhelming your party. Additionally, it uses AOE poison attacks, so come prepared with potions and cleansing abilities. After dealing with the summoned Slimes, you can quickly finish off King Slime with a few attacks. Its AOE attacks inflict poison but deal no direct damage, leaving room for your offensive moves.

A fire-type boss, Yar’thul unleashes Fire and Inferno-based attacks, inflicting Inferno and Burning stacks on the party. It's resistant to fire and physical damage but weak to Hex damage.

Yar’thul Location

To encounter Yar’thul, journey deep into the Desert to Mount Thul, an active volcano created by the dragon's immense heat. Navigate through the volcano's dark corridors to find Yar’thul at its heart.

Yar’thul Fighting Strategy

With 1200 HP (1800 if Corrupted), Yar’thul compensates for its lack of health with high damage output. Most of its attacks apply Inferno and Burning effects, making this a race against time. Below 50% health, Yar’thul enters its second phase, summoning meteors that stun and apply healing reduction. Focus on ending the fight quickly in this phase. The Dragon Ring and Pristine-level accessories can ease this battle. The Corrupted version gains lifesteal.

Thorian Fighting Strategy

With 2600 HP (3900 if Corrupted), Thorian has unique mechanics. If you attack with the same type twice in a row, it heals 150% of the damage dealt, so vary your attack types. Metrom’s Vessel

Once a hero, Metrom’s Vessel is now a shell possessed by Metrom, sealed in a Temporal Jail. The jail weakens it significantly.

Metrom’s Vessel Location

A Raid Boss, Metrom’s Vessel spawns on a global timer. You'll need a Void Key, obtained by defeating corrupted versions of other bosses, to enter the fight. Wait for the server-wide notification announcing its spawn and location.

Metrom’s Vessel Fighting Strategy

With 10,000 HP (15,000 if Corrupted), Metrom’s Vessel is a stat-heavy boss requiring 30 to 60 minutes to defeat. It has two phases with different moves and mechanics.

In the first phase, its black wings grant damage negation. Destroy these wings by applying status effects and debuffs, but be cautious as fewer wings increase its damage output. Time your wing-destroying abilities carefully. Metrom’s Vessel also summons Shadeblades, which you should kill quickly. Prolonging the first phase increases the chance of it using Oblivion, dealing 50% max HP to everyone.

In the second phase, the wings switch between Offensive and Defensive modes. Offensive mode increases damage output and minion damage, while Defensive mode grants high resistance and a Thorns Aura. Again, use status effects and debuffs to destroy the wings. A Mini Shadebringer is summoned if a player fails to dodge an attack.

Rendering Slash0Lunges at a player, damaging them and applying 3 Weakness stacks.
Deathbound1Chooses 2 random players to apply 3 stacks of Sundered on.

Hexed Rend3An undodgeable AOE slash that debuffs all players. Cannot be dodged or blocked.

Phase 2 Attacks:

AttacksEnergy CostEffect
Oblivion + Eclipse1Uses Rendering Slash followed by a Hexed Rend.
Unyielding Fury2An AOE debuff giving all players 3 stacks of Blind and 2 stacks of Hexed. Cannot be dodged or blocked.
Minishade Bringer3Shoots 3 Shadebringers. Cannot be dodged or blocked.
