This week, the development team behind InZOI is taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before their holiday, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, took the time to share exciting updates on the much-anticipated features that fans have been eagerly requesting for InZOI. These insights not only reveal what players can look forward to but also highlight the extent to which these features will be implemented in the game.

One of the standout features coming to InZOI is the ability for players to utilize real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. While this was already announced in the summer and praised for its convenience, Kjun emphasized the team's commitment to further simplifying the process of creating zois, making it more accessible and user-friendly for all players.

In response to community wishes, InZOI will also introduce the ability for players to have their own pets within the game. Although this feature won't be available during the early access phase, fans can look forward to its inclusion in future updates. It's noteworthy that Kjun, a self-proclaimed animal lover, is particularly excited about this addition.

The game's environment will be enriched with tall buildings, limited to a maximum of 30 floors. This cap is a deliberate choice by the developers to mitigate potential performance issues, despite the game engine's capability to support higher constructions.

InZOI will also feature gas stations and incorporate a fighting system. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic introduced in early previews was not well-received by players, feeling too superficial. In response to this feedback, the team has developed a more comprehensive fighting system that will include full-fledged fights with clear winners and losers, enhancing the game's depth and engagement.

Understanding that InZOI will attract many newcomers to the genre, the developers have planned to include a tutorial. This thoughtful inclusion aims to guide new players through the game's mechanics, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.

As it stands, Krafton continues to target an early access release for InZOI at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This update from Kjun not only showcases the team's responsiveness to player feedback but also their dedication to delivering a polished and feature-rich gaming experience.
