This game blends Roguelike elements with simulation management, drawing inspiration from Civilization IV and the broader Civilization series. Instead of complex processes, however, it employs a minimalist approach: each year, the player, as king, chooses one of three options presented from a vast array of randomized events. These events encompass a wide range of challenges and opportunities, including technological advancement, policy implementation, construction projects, religious expansion, diplomacy, recruitment of advisors, disaster management, riot control, military campaigns (sieges and conquests), and defense against invasions. The ultimate objective is to build a lasting empire, fostering continuous population growth, transforming a small tribe into a mighty kingdom, and finally, a global power.
